MMSMUN XV is the Moody Invitational Model United Nations Conference. Delegates are in grades 5 through 8, so some of them are under 13. This page explains what personal information the conference collects, how that information is used, and how a parent or guardian can review or delete it.

What we collect

Registration forms ask for information a parent, guardian, or school sponsor provides so a student can attend:

A school sponsor registering a delegation also gives the sponsor’s name, email, and phone number, the school name, how many students are coming, and each student’s name, grade, and email if one is given.

We do not ask for a date of birth, a Social Security number, or a photo. Names and short biographies of secretariat members may also appear on the public Secretariat page when those students choose to publish them.

How we use it

Conference staff use this information to register students, place them in committees, plan lunch, note allergies, check students in, reach a parent or emergency contact if needed, and send conference updates to students, parents, and sponsors.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Registration answers are saved in the conference website’s database so staff can use them while they run the event. The browser used to submit a form may also keep a copy in that browser’s local storage.

Pages on this site load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive technical information that comes with that request, such as an IP address. Instagram and TikTok are opened only if someone chooses those links in the footer.

Parents and guardians

If a student is under 13, a parent or guardian should submit the registration or review it with the student. A parent or guardian can ask to see the information we have about that student, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop using it.

Email the conference sponsor, Ms. Laurie Morris, at lamorris@henrico.k12.va.us. Include the student’s name and school so we can find the right registration.
